Abstract

Old age is the last stage of life. When one looks back at one's life one lives on the present achievements and sets out to complete the final destination of one's life. With age comes regression to the initial behavioral type and underdeveloped level of action. Different individuals vary greatly in the age at which physical and mental hysteria begins. Yet the age of sixty is unanimously considered the dividing line between middle age and old age. Thus, according to tradition, old age lasts from the age of sixty to death. It is not a good criterion to consider the onset of old age from a certain age, because the age at which hyssop actually starts varies from person to person. In good living conditions and medicine, the symptoms of physical and mental degradation do not appear before sixty-five, but not even seventy-two. But the traditional dividing line is still the same. The shortness or longevity of old age depends on how long a person lives. In some people this stage is the longest stage of life and for some it is the shortest.
