Comparative Study of Teaching Aptitude of B.Ed. Trainees Studying in Self-Funded and Financially Aided Teacher-Training Colleges

Abstract

The study presented is a comparative study of the teaching aptitude of B.Ed. trainees studying in self-funded and financially aided teacher-training colleges. In the presented study, the survey method has been used under descriptive research. In the self-funded and financially aided teacher-training colleges of Prayagraj district, B.Ed students studying in the research work presented under the population. By stratified randomized representation as a representative, 150 self-financed and 150 financially aided B.T. Trainees studying in teacher-training colleges have been selected. A "List for Teaching Aptitude Measurement" produced by Shri SP Ahluwalia was used. The study uses the T-ratio statistical method for data analysis. After analysis of the data, the following conclusions were obtained - The teaching aptitude of the trainees studying in financially assisted B.Ed. colleges is more favorable than that of the trainees studying in self-funded B.Ed. colleges. There is no difference in teaching aptitude between women and male trainees studying in self-funded and funded B.Ed colleges. The teaching aptitude of trainees studying in B.Ed Colleges in urban area is more favorable than those of trainees studying in B.Ed Colleges in rural area.
